mentioned that they should re-engage to complete a

further 9 years' service as Marines.

The re-engagement would be merely formal, and

could be carried out on board the Flag Ship at Hong

Kong.

cause the necessary directions to be given accordingly.

The Commander-in-Chief, China, has been informed

this arrangement.
